The first exchange is free. It's not a session yet: it's there so we can get acquainted and you can ask your questions.

The first meeting costs 40 €. The amount is then set together, in the same range. Online is the same price as in person.

A session with a child at the atelier costs 40 €, materials included. Meetings with the parent are part of the work and aren't paid separately.

By appointment; available slots appear in the calendar.

How the atelier works

A child is brought in for all sorts of reasons. Because they don't speak, or speak differently. Because they've stopped going to school. Because there's a diagnosis and no one knows what to do with it. Because something has stopped, or is overflowing, and it's no longer clear where to begin.

But it is the child who comes, and not only to stop being a worry to others. They too have their own idea of what is happening to them, and it is with them that the work is done.

The atelier welcomes children and adolescents, whatever their way of being in the world, including those said to be autistic.

Each child is received one at a time, on their own terms, never by a protocol fixed in advance. What they draw or make is not deciphered like a test: it belongs to them, and that is where the work begins.

The atelier continues the tradition of institutions that receive children and adolescents in psychic distress. Path →

How analysis works

A session has no fixed length. It may stop on a word, a hesitation, on what has just come to matter. It is not the clock that ends it.

One does not necessarily come with a symptom to make disappear. One comes because there is something to say, without yet knowing what, or to whom.

The first meetings serve to see what is at stake, whether an analysis can begin, at what rhythm and in which language.

I am currently completing a bachelor's degree, "Assistant in Psychology" (clinical orientation), at Institut Libre Marie Haps (HE Vinci), Brussels (2025–2027).

For ten years I practised in a private consulting room in Kyiv; since 2022, in Brussels and online. Since 2022 I have worked in Belgian institutions that receive children, adolescents and adults, including autistic and psychotic subjects: Le Courtil, Ateliers du 94, La Soucoupe, Les Glycines, Périsphère — in the orientation of the Champ freudien.

I have collaborated with the Champ freudien since 2014: École de la Cause freudienne, New Lacanian School. I continue my training in its postgraduate programmes: Section clinique de Bruxelles, Collège clinique — UFORCA (Lille / Tournai / Brussels), CERA — Centre d'études et de recherches sur l'autisme (ECF, 2022–2026), London Workshop of the Freudian Field, directed by Jacques-Alain Miller (2022–2026), and ECF and NLS seminars and congresses. Since 2022 I take part in the NLS Ukrainian initiative "Échanges" (Obmini); I have been its co-organiser since 2025.

Higher education in psychology — specialist diploma, psychologist-practitioner, specialisation "psychoanalysis" (International Institute of Depth Psychology, Kyiv, 2011–2014). Theory and clinic of psychoanalysis (Freud–Lacan) and the course "Psychoanalysis of the young subject" with Victor Mazin and Aiten Yuran, East European Institute for Psychoanalysis (Saint Petersburg), 2011–2018. Doctorate in psychology — Kyiv Institute of Modern Psychology and Psychotherapy, since 2021, interrupted.

Since 2004 I have worked in the field of art, above all contemporary art: teaching, curating, artistic projects. My constant theme is cultural memory: I have collaborated with various archives and museums in Ukraine, on how experience is preserved, forgotten and put into words anew. From 2012 to 2018 I worked on the Dream Museum in Kyiv, a multidisciplinary cultural space devoted to the phenomenon of dreams, with no display cases and where one cannot remain a spectator: everyone is at once an exhibit and a researcher of their own unconscious. It is one of the projects of the NGO Dream Projects (Ukraine, Georgia), of which I am a co-founder.

My first degree is a master's in art history (National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Kyiv). From it grew my artistic and curatorial practice, which has in part informed my clinical approach.

Questions

first meetings

What happens at the first meeting?

You speak, I listen and ask questions. Often, simply being heard already brings relief; slower, deeper work comes after. You can come as you are and begin anywhere.

What do people usually come with?

In many different ways. With anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia. With what is called burnout or PTSD. With loss, with guilt, with the disorientation that follows exile. Often with what has not yet found words. All of it can be brought here, and that is where the work begins.

How long does a session last?

The length of a session is not fixed in advance — it may end earlier or run longer.

How long does an analysis last?

It is not fixed in advance. A duration decided beforehand would decide the work in your place. Some come for a few months and leave with what they came for. Others stay a long time. You can stop at any point, and it needs no one's agreement.

How often should one come?

Usually once a week, sometimes more. That is what keeps the work continuous. The rhythm is set together at the start, and it can change.

Are online sessions possible?

Yes: analysis, in Ukrainian and Russian, wherever you are. The fee is the same as in person. The atelier happens in person — it needs a table, materials and a shared space.

Can analysis go alongside medical treatment?

Yes. If you see a psychiatrist or take prescribed medication, analysis runs alongside, in its own course.

conditions

What does it cost?

A first video conversation (camera optional) of fifteen to twenty minutes — free of charge. First meeting — €40; the amount is then set together, in the same range. Session with a child at the atelier — €40, materials included; meetings with the parent are part of the work and are not charged separately.

How confidential is it?

What is said in the consulting room stays there. I keep the rule of confidentiality and disclose neither names nor other details by which an analysand could be identified. I issue no attestation at a third party's request. Neither an employer, nor family, nor another professional receives information from me, except where you ask for it yourself.

training

Psychiatrist, psychologist, psychotherapist, psychoanalyst — what is the difference?

A psychiatrist is a physician, and only a physician can prescribe medication. A psychologist holds a university degree in psychology; in Belgium the title has been protected by law since 1993. The practice of psychotherapy has likewise been framed by law since 2016 and reserved to certain health care professions. Psychoanalysis is neither a medical speciality nor a form of psychotherapy: it is a distinct practice, with its own history, its own schools and its own mode of authorisation.

What is your training?

Specialist diploma, practising psychologist, specialisation in psychoanalysis — International Institute of Depth Psychology, Kyiv, 2011–2014.
Bachelor "Assistant in psychology" (clinical orientation), Institut Libre Marie Haps, Brussels, in progress (2025–2027).
Theory and clinic of psychoanalysis (Freud–Lacan), 2011.
Training within the Champ freudien since 2014: École de la Cause freudienne, New Lacanian School, Section clinique de Bruxelles.
Work in institutions receiving children and adolescents: Le Courtil, Ateliers du 94, La Soucoupe, Les Glycines, Périsphère.
The detail is under "Path".

children and adolescents

Can an adolescent come alone, without their parents?

What an adolescent says stays between us: I do not report the content of meetings to parents. The practical side — timing, payment — does nonetheless require that an adult knows the appointments are taking place. How to arrange this is discussed at the first conversation; knowing that there are appointments is not knowing what is said in them.

Do you see children who have been given an autism diagnosis?

Yes. The atelier continues the tradition of institutions working precisely with autism: Le Courtil, Ateliers du 94, La Soucoupe. What a document calls ASD does not become the child's name here, and does not decide in advance what we will do. The work starts from what the child has already found for themselves.

Is a diagnosis needed to begin?

No. No diagnosis, no referral, no waiting list. If an assessment has been made and there is a document, I will read it, but the work does not begin there. And if you are only waiting for an assessment, that is no reason to do nothing for months.

Am I present during the session? Will I know what happens there?

The session belongs to the child alone, it is their space. So that you know how the work is going, we meet regularly to talk about it. These meetings are part of the work.

What if my child refuses to come?

A refusal is also something said: one works with it, not against it. Sometimes it is better for the parent to come alone first. Sometimes it is enough for the child to come and look at the room and leave. Forcing is neither necessary nor useful.

My child has stopped going to school. Is that something for you?

Yes, it is one of the most frequent reasons an adolescent is brought in. Behind no longer going to school there can be very different things. Our meetings serve precisely to understand what it is about here, and to work out what to do.
